The OBS plugin provides scene, source, filter, text and media operations through OBS WebSocket. Project entities let multiple actions reuse the same assets and slots.

Connect

  1. Enable the supported WebSocket server in OBS and inspect its endpoint and authentication settings.
  2. Open the OBS plugin's local settings in the Editor and enter the matching host, port and password.
  3. Apply the settings and use the connection command.
  4. Refresh OBS resources before selecting a scene or source.

Configure the project

Create the required Assets and Slots in the OBS workspace. Bind a slot to the intended OBS resource, Apply its form, and select it in the action.

Test a scene or text change against a controlled OBS collection. In Runs, inspect both the selected entity and action result. A valid connection alone does not prove that a named source exists in the current scene collection.

External media can need relinking after project transfer. Keep passwords in local settings. See Donation reactions.

Connection form

These are the Streaming Hub connection fields. Match them to your own OBS WebSocket configuration; the screenshot does not show a connected OBS session.
