Automations

Combine an enabled signal with a sequence of actions.

An automation connects a signal to the sequence that handles it. Its definition includes the signal settings, steps and execution policy.

Organize definitions

Use folders, names and search to keep related reactions together. A folder can also provide a concurrency boundary for automations sharing an output such as an OBS overlay.

Disabling an automation prevents ordinary live starts. A controlled Test is available without enabling it for live events. An already accepted run uses its captured definition.

Build safely

Start with your first automation, then add conditions and reusable macros. Resolve invalid entity references and step errors before connecting a live signal.

Inspect the selected run in Runs; the current Editor selection alone does not identify which definition a historical run used.
