Core Settings
Control Core from Tray without opening an Editor.
AlphaOpen Core Settings from the Core tray. Its standard English Windows interface manages Core state independently of Editor themes and preferences.
Available sections
| Section | Use it to |

| Clients and access | Review approved credentials and active sessions; revoke access or disconnect a session. |
| Editors | Inspect registered editors and select an available compatible preferred editor. |
| Services | View the active local service profile and reconnect configured plugin connections. |
| Files & Folders | Approve, rebind or revoke local project folder access with separate operation permissions. |

The project is DocumentationDemo.shubproj. Applied and saved revision 3 match, and Unsaved changes is False. Core can be ready with warnings while individual services remain disconnected. This view is limited to version and project state.
Reconnect saved services
Use Connect / Retry for one configured connection or Connect all configured for eligible connections. Progress and cancellation are separate for each operation. Initial sign-in and parameter editing remain in the Editor.
Quick connect does not install dependencies or clear credentials. Cancelling an attempt does not sign out an account or undo a connection already established.
Each row has its own connection state. Here Piper TTS reports Connected with three managed voices, OBS is Disconnected, and the account integrations require sign-in. The selected OBS reconnect operation Failed because the configured local endpoint at 127.0.0.1:4455 was unreachable. An accepted connection request is separate from its result. This example does not demonstrate successful remote-service access or voice playback.
Core autosave and startup
These preferences belong to Core. Editor appearance and shortcuts are configured separately. The Windows startup control is unavailable in this unregistered demonstration installation; a registered installation with an updated root launcher is required.
Access and changes
For Files & Folders, choose a logical Location ID and a local directory, then allow the required operations. Access lasts until Core restarts unless remembered for this project on this PC. Rebinding moves no files; copied/imported projects and Save As at another path need their own approval. Grant changes pause and join running automations before applying. An open access draft also blocks update maintenance.
Disconnect ends one session; an unrevoked approved client can reconnect. Revoke removes the credential's access and associated sessions.
Unapplied General settings remain protected during refresh and block update shutdown until resolved. See Plugin updates and Client connection and access.
