Plugin entities and detached drafts

Entity workspace descriptors define collections, types, variants, fields, relationships and supported commands. The plugin remains the owner of integration-specific state.

Detached editing

Host API 1.8 adds ProjectSchemaFactory(values, state) and ValidateProjectEntity(values, state) for schema/validation against detached project state, including an unapplied parent candidate. These callbacks must not mutate live plugin state.

Declare parent-owned collections through the relationship metadata so clients can render nested forms. Keep stable field/type IDs and field-specific validation. Core binds edits to resource versions and publishes supported atomic batches.

Transfer

Optional entity transfer uses .shubentities.json. The host owns the envelope and transaction; the plugin owns payload schema, dependencies and reference remapping.

Analyze without mutation, stage a complete import and provide rollback support. Export no credentials; warn about external paths. See Testing.
