Data Explorer

The Database / Data Explorer workspace shows files available beneath configured context roots. Core validates file access and writes; the Editor presents the tree and text drafts.

Work with a file

Select an allowed root, inspect a file and use the supported text or JSON tools. Resolve pending edits before changing the selected file or closing the workspace.

A concurrent write can make a file draft stale. Reload and compare rather than overwriting a newer file without review. Read-only roots cannot be used for writes.

Root-relative paths improve portability, but do not automatically copy the underlying files into a project export. See Context storage and Projects.
