Data and context
Use event fields, run-local values and macro inputs deliberately.
AlphaA run carries event data and runtime values. Each field has a declared path; use Insert Field and Encyclopedia rather than assuming that every signal supplies the same fields.

Runtime variables
Configure an action's output target under runtime.* to use its result in a later step. Use a run-local value when parallel runs must not overwrite a shared project variable.
A missing field differs from an empty value. Test missing and boundary cases, then inspect the before/after data captured by Runs. Captures are bounded and may omit data.
