Live State Source

Live State Source supplies an online, offline or unknown state from the selected provider. Core owns the selected source and its observation.

Use it as a gate

Choose a source supported by your configured integration, then inspect the status before enabling a timer or action that requires a live stream. Missing or unavailable providers can leave the state Unknown while retaining the selected source ID.

Live state is separate from Editor-to-Core connectivity and from whether an integration is signed in. A healthy connection does not necessarily mean a stream is online.

Test online and offline cases for periodic messages. Check the service tooltip and service diagnostics if the state is unexpected.
