Process items in a loop

Run a nested sequence for each item in a list or object.

Before you start

Use a test project connected to Core. Review Apply and Save before testing a changed definition.

Steps

1. Provide a small controlled array or object through Test Data or an earlier action.
2. Add For Each and select the collection source.
3. Configure the current-item runtime variable and add a Log action inside the loop body.
4. Select the current item's path with Insert Field, save the sequence, and Test.
5. Inspect the individual loop occurrences in Runs, then test an empty collection.

Verify

The nested body executes for the collection's supported items, with a separate trace occurrence for each iteration. Inspect the corresponding run, then Save the applied project when the result is correct.

If it does not work

Check that the source resolves to the expected collection and that nested actions use the loop item rather than a different shared value.
