Send a reusable announcement through a connected chat service.

Before you start

Use a test project connected to Core. Configure the relevant integrations in the intended local service profile. Review Apply and Save before testing a changed definition.

Steps

  1. Connect the chat service you intend to use; for Twitch, choose the correct Broadcaster/Bot chat role.
  2. Add a Timer Tick automation and set Interval to 10 and Unit to Minutes for this example.
  3. Add the service's Send Message action and enter a short fixed announcement.
  4. Save the automation and run a controlled Test to check the selected account and message.
  5. If announcements should require a live stream, configure and verify the Live State Source and the timer's live-state gate.
  6. Save and enable the timer only after both the message and gate behave as intended.

Verify

The configured chat service receives the announcement on accepted timer events. Inspect the corresponding run, then Save the applied project when the result is correct.

If it does not work

Use only the connected service's action. Test unknown/offline live state, and do not infer that a connection is live merely because authorization succeeded.
