AI Services
Use provider connections and model profiles from automation actions.
AlphaAI Services is Core's AI subsystem. A connection selects a provider endpoint and credentials; a model profile selects the connection, model and request settings used by actions.
Configure
Open AI settings in the intended local service profile. Add a provider connection, configure its endpoint and credentials, then inspect its connection/model diagnostics. Create a model profile and select the intended model.
LM Studio can supply a local OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Hosted providers use their configured endpoint and credentials. Use the provider's current setup instructions for its server and account requirements.
A connection describes the endpoint. This example uses a local address and has no credential configured.
A model profile references a connection and a model. Select an available model and verify the connection before using the profile in an action.
Use an action
Select the model profile in Call and Store, configure the prompt/input and output target, then save the sequence and Test. Read the captured output before sending it to chat or another integration.
Only the content selected by the action and its configured context is relevant to a request. Review viewer messages, files and credentials before using a hosted provider.
The removed AI Assist / AI Automation Builder interfaces are not required for AI automation actions. See AI chat bot and Contextual AI bot.
