Create, lock and resolve a prediction using explicit button workflows.

Before you start

Use a test project connected to Core. Configure the relevant integrations in the intended local service profile. Review Apply and Save before testing a changed definition.

Steps

  1. Connect the intended Twitch Broadcaster with prediction capabilities and the Stream Deck bridge.
  2. Create button signals for Start, Lock, Win, Lose and Cancel as needed.
  3. In Start, add Create Prediction with a title, two outcome names and the intended entry window.
  4. Store the returned prediction ID in a project variable for the other automations, using the action's declared output path.
  5. In Lock/Resolve/Cancel, select that saved ID and the intended operation/outcome.
  6. Save the automation and verify Start → Lock → Win/Lose or Cancel against a controlled channel workflow.

Verify

Each button targets the prediction created by the Start workflow. Inspect the corresponding run, then Save the applied project when the result is correct.

If it does not work

Channel eligibility and account permissions are external requirements. Verify the real locked state before resolving; Test Data alone does not establish successful Twitch execution.
