Build an interactive UI Choice on Stream Deck

Display a project-defined choice and handle its response.

Before you start

Use a test project connected to Core. Configure the relevant integrations in the intended local service profile. Review Apply and Save before testing a changed definition.

Steps

1. Connect the matching controller companion and configure a project UI Zone.
2. Add Choice Create to a controlled automation and select the declared zone.
3. Define the options and configure whether the sequence waits or continues.
4. Add the supported response-handling path and inspect its declared selection fields.
5. Save the automation and Test selection, timeout, dismissal and several requests targeting the same zone.

Verify

The controller presents the choice in the intended zone and the response follows the configured handling path. Inspect the corresponding run, then Save the applied project when the result is correct.

If it does not work

Review per-zone queue/priority behavior and stale choices. A connected bridge does not verify that physical buttons match the configured zone.
