Recover an interrupted update
Use the recorded outcome before retrying component installation.
AlphaAn update has one shared operation and a recorded outcome. Check that operation before starting another installation or changing component files.
Installation is postponed
Resolve unsaved drafts, unfinished client operations or Save errors. A refused preparation keeps the working installation running. Cancel a pending download if you no longer want the reviewed set.
An update was interrupted
Use the installation's root launcher and inspect the updater's recovery result. Verified pre-resume failures can restore the complete previous component set. Ambiguous or foreign recovery evidence remains blocked for review rather than replaying actions.
Do not delete locks, operation journals or recovery directories as a general fix. They protect an installation whose last outcome may be uncertain.
Core returns without the project
Check project availability and its saved path. A missing project can leave the previous Core usable for manual reopening. Review diagnostics and open the intended project explicitly.
Repair
Setup repair restores authenticated files for the registered current versions, including mixed component versions after independent updates. It preserves user data and does not repeat legacy migration. A missing cached archive may require its identical download.
Report the operation ID, component versions, visible outcome and sanitized diagnostics. See Core Settings and Project recovery.
