Entities and workspaces

Entities store reusable plugin-defined records, such as OBS assets and slots. Their fields, variants, relationships and commands are declared by the plugin.

Edit a record

Select the collection and record, change the form and resolve validation issues. Apply commits the candidate to Core; Discard restores the applied data. A pending-change notice identifies a form that has not been applied.

Nested related records can belong to a parent draft. Finish the parent and child changes together rather than navigating away and assuming each keystroke was saved.

References and transfer

Actions can select entities by a declared reference. Missing or incompatible selections are reported in the Editor. Refresh a resource list after a connection or external resource changes.

Import/export support is plugin-defined. Review dependencies and conflict choices for .shubentities.json transfers. Files and media referenced by an entity can still need relinking.

Image preview is supported where provided; not every legacy media preview or callback-only command is available through the API. See OBS workspace.
