Plugin manifest
Declare entry identity, compatibility, capabilities and limits.
Alphaplugin.json identifies the package and declares how Core can load it. Keep identity stable across releases.
Required identity
Supply a unique plugin ID, version, entry assembly and entry type. The entry type must have a public parameterless constructor; its runtime metadata ID must match the manifest ID. Include accurate publisher information without presenting it as verified identity.
Compatibility
Declare the Host Plugin API range required by your contributions. For example, detached entity draft callbacks require Host API 1.8, while optional named quick-service connections require 1.7.
Declare capabilities and relevant timeouts deliberately. A newer SDK package name does not automatically change the minimum contract your code actually requires.
Finish the manifest and all package files before signing. Replacing a signed dependency invalidates the authenticated package.
