Status bar
Distinguish project state, Core connectivity and service health.
AlphaThe status bar reports the open project, Editor/Core connection, persistence state and integration observations. These are separate states.
Interpret a status
A connected Editor can have an offline service. Core can remain running without a project after a failed remembered-project restore. A changed project can be applied in memory while still unsaved on disk.
Service tooltips show bounded connection details and the last error with saved credentials masked. Live State describes the selected source's online/offline/unknown state rather than general API connectivity.

Use Core/client diagnostics for access or connection problems, service diagnostics for an integration, and Apply and Save for persistence questions.
