Capabilities

  • Run actions against scenes, scene items, inputs and filters.
  • Receive supported OBS events, including scene changes.
  • Manage reusable OBS profiles, slots, assets and bindings in the OBS workspace.

Integration signals can start automations. Integration actions are added as steps.

Requirements

  • OBS Studio with obs-websocket support enabled.
  • A reachable WebSocket address, port and password when authentication is enabled.

Connect

  1. In OBS, open Tools → WebSocket Server Settings and enable the server.
  2. Select Show Connect Info and keep the address, port, and password available.
  3. In Streaming Hub, open Services → OBS, or double-click OBS in the status bar.
  4. Copy the OBS connection values into the matching fields and connect.
  5. Save the settings, open the OBS workspace, and select Refresh.
  6. Create Slots and bind them to the scenes, sources, filters, and media items returned by the connected OBS instance.

Verify the connection

The OBS service indicator shows a connected state and the OBS workspace can refresh current references without an error.

OBS entities and bindings

After connecting, open the OBS workspace to create reusable profiles, Slots, Assets, and Bindings. Bind each portable Slot to the matching scene, text source, media source, filter, or other OBS item in the selected profile.

OBS entities separate portable automation Slots from the concrete resources in an OBS profile.

Limitations

Actions depend on the names and identifiers available in the connected OBS instance. Renaming or removing OBS resources can invalidate saved references.

Troubleshooting

Check the service status and filter the Log panel by the integration source. Reopen the integration settings to verify credentials, address and required external-service permissions.
