Open a panel

Select its vertical label on the right edge of the Automation workspace or use its shortcut. Only one side panel is shown at a time; select the active label again or use the close button to hide it. Streaming Hub preserves the visible panel and supported panel widths in the workspace layout.

Variables

Use Variables to create and maintain project values that several automations or macros can share. The table exposes each variable's name, type, current value and description. Group related variables to keep larger projects readable, and use search plus the previous and next controls to move between matches.

Variables combines value editing, grouping, search and navigation to known usages.
  • Add / Delete creates a variable or removes the selected one.
  • Group / Ungroup / To Group creates groups and moves selected variables between them.
  • Usages lists known reads and writes. Open a usage to navigate to the related automation or macro; dynamic references can be reported less precisely than direct paths.
  • Hide usages gives the variable table more vertical space.

Runtime

Use Runtime after a test or live trigger to inspect captured execution data. Select a snapshot in the history table by time, automation, step and stage, then inspect the available detail tabs:

Select a Before or After snapshot, then switch detail tabs to inspect the captured state.
  • Runtime, Payload and Event show the captured JSON for the selected snapshot.
  • Variables shows variable names, types and values captured at that point.
  • Macro shows the active macro, its inputs and call stack when the run entered a macro.
  • Execution Trace shows ordered step status and messages and can be cleared or copied.
  • Paths collects available payload, variable, runtime, input and event paths for reuse while authoring.

Default shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+2. Use the Log panel alongside Runtime when you need both the execution snapshot and the surrounding service messages.

Insert Field

Use Insert Field while editing a template, expression or path-aware field. Its tabs separate available paths by source: Event, Payload, Vars, Stats, Runtime, Inputs and Outputs.

Choose a namespace, then use the field path and description to select the correct value.

Each row identifies the path, type and description; Statistics also shows the current value. Double-click a row to insert the path into the supported editor.

Encyclopedia

Encyclopedia is the authoritative in-app catalog for registered signals, actions, macros and project capabilities. Search or browse the tree, select an item, then review its description, requirements, configurable schema, inputs, contract fields, outputs and last captured sample.

Browse the catalog in the upper section, then inspect and copy the selected item details below.

The action row can export reference docs or copy the display name, stable item ID and contract paths. Default shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+4. Select a step and press Ctrl+Alt+E to open its matching entry directly. See the Encyclopedia reference for a focused walkthrough.
