Log panel

The log panel shows application, service, plugin and automation messages.

Alpha

Entries

Each entry includes a time, source, severity level and message. Read adjacent entries when one operation produces several messages.

Filter

Filter by source or severity and use search to narrow the visible entries. Clearing the current view does not resolve the condition that produced an error.

Panel controls

Use Pin to preserve the panel state where supported, the export control to save available log data, and Clear to remove current entries from the view.

Use with Runtime

Logs are best for chronological events and service messages. Use the Runtime panel when you need the captured context and step results of one automation run.
