Requirements
- A running vMix instance with its Web Controller or HTTP API enabled.
- A reachable host and HTTP port. The standard local Web Controller address normally uses port
8088.
Connect
- Start vMix and open its settings.
- Enable the vMix Web Controller and note its HTTP port. No separate vMix screenshot is required for this step.
- In Streaming Hub, open Services → vMix.
- For vMix on the same computer, use host
127.0.0.1. Otherwise enter the reachable address of the vMix computer. - Enter the Web Controller HTTP port and choose a polling interval.
- Select Refresh vMix, then save the settings.
Verify the connection
Diagnostics reports a connected vMix instance and Refresh vMix returns current input metadata without an HTTP connection error.
Limitations
Saved references can become invalid when vMix inputs are removed, renumbered or renamed. Refresh the production state after changing the vMix project.
Troubleshooting
Check the service status and filter the Log panel by the integration source. Reopen the integration settings to check connection details, enabled options and required external-service permissions.
