Stream Deck
Connect Stream Deck controls to Streaming Hub through the local bridge.
AlphaCapabilities
- Receive button, encoder and touch events.
- Create queued UI choices, wait for a response or handle it through UI Choice Selected.
- Run independent choice queues in multiple UI Zones.
- Write text and status to configured information panels.
Integration signals can start automations. Integration actions are added as steps.
Requirements
- A supported Stream Deck-compatible controller application or device. Elgato hardware is not required.
- The matching Streaming Hub Stream Deck plugin installed in the controller application.
- Local bridge URL and token configured on both sides.
Connect
- Install the matching Streaming Hub controller plugin for Elgato Stream Deck or the supported Ajazz/StreamDock application.
- In Streaming Hub, open Services → Stream Deck.
- Copy the displayed Hub URL and token.
- In the controller application, add a Streaming Hub Connection action and paste both values.
- Save the action and wait for its key to display HUB_OK.
- Add a Signal button with a stable Button ID, then create a matching Stream Deck Button Up automation in Streaming Hub.
Verify the connection
Open Stream Deck diagnostics and run the self-test. The report should confirm the bridge connection and test message exchange.
Interactive choices
Choice Create assigns options to UI Choice buttons in a zone. It can pause the current automation or continue immediately and report the answer through UI Choice Selected.
Each zone has an independent priority queue. Choice Dismiss can close the current request, clear a zone, or remove requests by Prompt ID.
Build an interactive UI Choice on Stream Deck explains the complete setup, execution modes, timeout, priority and dismiss behavior.
Limitations
The bridge is local but still requires matching URL, token and plugin versions. Device capabilities vary between Stream Deck models. One UI Choice is visible per UI Zone; additional requests wait in that zone's queue.
Troubleshooting
Check the service status and filter the Log panel by the integration source. Reopen the integration settings to verify credentials, address and required external-service permissions.
